You have several ways on how to add an item to the snipe list:
1. Click "Snipe it" link usually located on the right side of the page (under seller's info).
2. Click Tools menu in Firefox, then you can find "Snipe it" option.
3. Right-click on the item's page and select "Snipe it" from the context menu.
Once added you can manage your items using http://www.myibay.com/

You will see a list of items you added, where you can manage it, cancel, add new items, import from your watching list, etc.
Snipe status is available for ended items only and located on the Snipe page (click "Snipe" button next to your item in the list to open it).
